Active Management of Labour

Active Management of Labour Courses 2010

Active Management of Labour for Senior Obstetricians have been organised at the hospital since 1975. In 1994 the format was changed to enable Midwives to participate in the course as well as Obstetricians from the same units. The new format has proved a great success.

In order to maintain the teaching and communication which has been a characteristic feature of these courses over the years, we are restricted to the first 16 applicants. The dates for the next courses can be found below.

The courses are held in English. The programme is intense and consists of group seminars, discussion and regular labour ward rounds. The course fee is €1,400. This includes hotel accommodation in central Dublin.

I would be grateful if you could draw this course to the attention of appropriate members of your staff, Midwives and Doctors.

Kind Regards.

Yours Sincerely,

MR Signature
Michael Robson, FRCS, MRCOG, FRCPI.
Master
