If you wish to book in your pregnancy with The National Maternity Hospital, you will need to register your pregnancy and obtain a Booking Reference Number (BRN), even if you have attended the hospital before.
Before we can proceed with your booking, you need to choose whether you would like to book into the hospital as a public patient, semi-private patient or private patient. When you choose your category of care, this category applies for your entire pregnancy. You will also need to know the date of the first day of your Last Menstrual Period or your expected delivery date to continue with booking.
Further information on the different Maternity Care Options can be viewed here.
