Cyberattack on HSE IT Systems - Important notice for all our gynaecology patients
Due to the recent cyberattack, we are asking you to please bring in any documention you have related to your care, including referral letter from your GP, specialist or another hospital.
Unfortunately, all phone consultations have been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.
We really appreciate your help with this, so that we can continue to give you the best care possible and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Gynaecology Clinics - COVID19
We are asking all patients to please attend appointments unaccompanied due to space issues and social distancing. Please arrive no more than five minutes before your allocated time and wear your own face covering.
Our clinic hours have been extended to 07.30-18.30hrs and two sessions per day have been increased to three sessions, as we do our very best to see patients as quickly as possible. Renovations to the clinic are in progress and hopefully will be completed by October, we wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We tend to all women in a professional, reassuring and confidential manner. Your care will be provided by our multidisciplinary team including consultant gynaecologists, specialist gynaecology nurses, physiotherapists, counsellors, phlebotomists and radiologists.This page contains details of the various gynaecological clinics at The National Maternity Hospital.
Referrals are mainly made by your GP or Consultant Obstetrician/Gynaecologist. You will have a consultation and assessment with the doctor. Any necessary investigations are arranged and any follow up appointments organised.
